What do I do?

I'm a registered clinical psychologist, who loves to connect with new people.  I am a trainer, who is equally driven to share my knowledge as I am to learn from the those I teach. I believe life has infinite possibilities and I'm excited to help you or your organisation find yours.

Areas of Expertise

  • Complex trauma
  • Neurobiology and the science of safety
  • Attachment difficulties
  • Aggression and externalising behaviours
  • Adolescence
  • Clinical Supervision
  • Tailored training packages and reflective practice

Who am I?

I grew up in a small rural community in North-West NSW, on a quiet street at the edge of town called 'Sunnyside Rd'. After boarding school unsure of what was next, I thought I saw myself as a physics teacher.  A year into uni  (and one failed 'Intro to Mechanical Physics' course later) I realised my desire to teach was more about a desire to connect.  This sparked a natural transition to psychology, where today I'm privileged to laugh, cry and learn with all different people every day.

Outside of the therapy space you find me chasing waterfalls, swimming in a freshwater stream, eating pasta or cheese, singing terribly in the car or hiking somewhere with a view and no phone service.

Services

Holding Soap Bars

I am a human centered, clinical psychologist with a focus on developing safety and connection. This will underpin everything we do in therapy space.

Chalkboard with Different Languages

I am dedicated to lifelong learning and passionate about sharing the knowledge I've accrued with parents, carers, educators, residential facilities, government departments and non government organisations.

Desert Plant

I provide a safe space for professionals to reflect, grow and develop their skills.

Sunnyside Psychology operates on Larrakia Country and recognises the Larrakia people as owners of this land as sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across all of what we now call Australia, and thank them for looking after the land for thousands and thousands of years so we can call it home.
